From Concept to Conference: A Seamless Scientific Event Platform for USTHB

Context & Challenge

USTHB required a professional and fully branded online platform to host its scientific conference. The challenge was to design a website that reflected the university’s visual identity while integrating a structured submission system capable of handling multiple user workflows, including paper submissions, abstract reviews, and participant registration. The platform needed to balance functionality with a premium, professional user experience, meeting the high standards expected in academic and scientific events.

Approach & Methodology

Numerikraft adopted a research-driven and methodical approach. The first step was discovery and analysis, where we identified key user groups—researchers, participants, reviewers, and organizers—and mapped their journeys. This allowed us to highlight potential friction points and ensure clarity in the user experience.

Next, we developed wireframes and prototypes, focusing on intuitive navigation and logical task flows.
